News & Events

Please accept my apologies for the delay in writing another digest. As reported earlier this month, UEC appointed NAS Australia as their Exclusive Australian Master Distributor on the 1st of October. Since that time, we have been flat out taking the reigns. The appointment felt a little like "back to the Future" as the NAS/UEC association dates back to the pre-RABS days in the late 90's. We are very proud to once again represent the brand in Australia.

In addition to the UEC news, links to some interesting and topical industry articles have been included for your consideration.

All the best,

John Kimbell

In this week’s digest I would like to focus on the economy and the effect the rapid depreciation of the Australian Dollar is having on our industry. All of the major suppliers in our industry import the majority of their component parts or finished goods from Asia where their currency is pinned to the US Dollar. The upshot; imported goods will cost more.

As usual, topical industry and technology articles are also included for your consideration as is an exciting new Kingray product release.

I hope you enjoy the digest.

Have a great week.

Best regards,

John

Please accept my apology for not posting a digest for the past two weeks. During this time, I was immersed in preparing for, and participating in Integrate 2015. During this time I bookmarked quite a few news articles I hope you will find interesting.

In addition, our IT Manager Mark Roemermann has written a blog in relation to difficulties many have been having remotely accessing IP cameras.

Have a great week.

Best regards,

John Kimbell
